GS&P is a global architecture firm that we worked extensively with while at The Wave Agency. Faced with several challenges including search engine invisibility, poor management of dynamic content like news and new project features online, and lack of internal communication between market divisions, GS&P looked to develop a new strategy and online presence more becoming of a true industry leader. After building a custom blog & project showcase site (all content updates managed internally), we completed a comprehensive competitive audit against 10 firms and worked to interview EVPs of 9 internal market divisions to determine specific competitive challenges and branding content requirements. We presented a formal findings & recommendation s document to the board, which led to the development of the corporate site which is now responsive in design and search engine friendly.

Results:

GS&P has replaced a dated, flash-based website invisible to search engines with an impressive online presence that promotes thought leadership and ranks well for key search terms, driving qualified leads for new projects and job candidates. All blog posts, news items, and featured project additions are managed internally by the communications team. External communications have been drastically improved, with several markets now producing monthly newsletters due to the streamlined process established for documenting projects.

Since launching our corporate and showcase websites, over half of our markets now produce monthly communications as project information collection has been greatly streamlined. Thanks to The Wave Agency’s leadership through a comprehensive branding discovery process - which included working with nine Executive Vice Presidents and their teams along with our marketing and PR departments - we were able to establish brand and critical messaging direction and a content strategy to better compete as industry thought leaders on the global online stage.
